Photographing the largest house in Port Macquarie

This is definitely not your average family home it is more a family estate. Situated high in the prestigious Lighthouse Beach precinct, this architecturally designed property commands magnificent ocean and hinterland views. With over 3000m² of living space including 5 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms this is a big home and to shoot a big home you need a big tripod. Fortunately I have a large camera pole stand that extends to nearly 6 meters although when shooting at dusk you can’t use it too high as it can move around in the breeze. This is what it looks like in operation.

As you can see when you compare the angle of the shot above ( taken on my phone by the way) and the final result in the feature image at the top of this post, that extra height really does give you a much better perspective. Here are a couple of other examples:-
